How to make a LUMYX presentation
Here are the steps to upload digital evidence, perform a quick digital forensics review, and generate an interactive timeline presentation for your case.
Step 1
Upload Your Location Dataset
To begin, drag and drop your forensic location data. We support data from mobile phones, automotive, subpeopna respones, and anything that includes lat/lng/timestamp. We automatically parse and display this data onto the map faster than you can finish your coffee.
Step 2
Investigate & Analyze
Explore your data with our simple, investigator-friendly tool. Use the play bar & map to understand the case. You won't need a week-long training course to use LUMYX.
Step 3
Filter Timeframe
Depending on your input file, you may have years of location data. It's important to filter this down to the relevant timeframe for your case presentation. Open the 'Filter Timeframe' menu to start refining your start & end dates.
Step 4
Add Critical Events
It's important to add the key events so you have a timeline for the jury to follow. Whether it's a text message, LPR hit, witness statement, or body cam footage, you can add it to the timeline. Click anywhere on the map or on the path timeline to add an event.
Step 5
Press Play
Your presentation is ready and you can just press Play. You can also customize the speed and fade duration to enhance the playback.
