Quickly analyze digital forensics evidence and deliver presentations that the jury will actually remember
LUMYX is used to investigate, simplify, and present complex cases. It's built for:
Import data from the tools your investigators already trust
Unlike your other digital forensics tools, Lumyx is ACTUALLY simple. Just drag, drop, and press play to get started. Add events with a single click.
Upload location data in seconds. We process cellebrite reader reports faster than opening them in cellebrite
We know how hard it is to keep the jury's attention. Lumyx will make them feel like they're watching an episode of CSI.
Our vision is to simplify the overall case workflow from initial investigation to courtroom presentation. LUMYX is used by a variety of stakeholders in both criminal & civil cases.
Quickly investigate location data and build clear timelines fast.
Import forensic datasets simplify them into a clear demonstrable.
Create location playback animations to use in your videos.
Keep cases moving with a simplified version written down in one place
Create clear, visual case timelines in minutes.
Present a LUMYX presentation in closing to end your case with impact.
Test alternate timelines and challenge assumptions.
Clarify incident paths and liability at a glance. Generate clear demostrables for trial and settlement.
Here are the steps to upload digital evidence, perform a quick digital forensics review, and generate an interactive timeline presentation for your case.
Step 1
To begin, drag and drop your forensic location data. We support data from mobile phones, automotive, subpeopna respones, and anything that includes lat/lng/timestamp. We automatically parse and display this data onto the map faster than you can finish your coffee.
Step 2
Explore your data with our simple, investigator-friendly tool. Use the play bar & map to understand the case. You won't need a week-long training course to use LUMYX.
Step 3
Depending on your input file, you may have years of location data. It's important to filter this down to the relevant timeframe for your case presentation. Open the 'Filter Timeframe' menu to start refining your start & end dates.
Step 4
It's important to add the key events so you have a timeline for the jury to follow. Whether it's a text message, LPR hit, witness statement, or body cam footage, you can add it to the timeline. Click anywhere on the map or on the path timeline to add an event.
Step 5
Your presentation is ready and you can just press Play. You can also customize the speed and fade duration to enhance the playback.
Our founders are committed to building innovative technology for public safety. They have dedicated their professional lives to creating technologies missing from the industry, most recently at Grayshift where they built the GrayKey and forensic tools used by the world’s leading law enforcement agencies.
Join hundreds of investigators, examiners, and prosecutors worldwide who use LUMYX for their criminal case timelines.
