Introducing People: The Who Of Every Case
We've launched a new core feature in Lumyx called People. You can add each person involved in the case — suspects, victims, witnesses, and anyone else — and it really helps convey the "who" portion of the investigation.
We're excited to see what you do with it.
Why it matters
Every investigation comes down to who, what, when, where, and why. Lumyx already showed the what, the when, and the where. The who did not carry as much weight in a presentation.
Now each person gets a name, a role, and a profile photo, and you link them to the paths that are theirs. Their photos show next to the map with a color bar for each path, so viewers can follow who went where. In a robbery with three suspects, you can see all three approach the bank in the same car, which of them went inside, and that all three left together.
People works in your existing cases and in new ones.
